Anyone who loves to paint or wants to help is invited to join the Fiesta Committee for a Fiesta booth painting party. We have beautiful brand new booths for Fiesta, but they need paint, so please join us at St. Cornelius on Sat. Sept. 6 from 9:30 - 6:00p.m. All are welcome!
All boys in 5, 6, 7, & 8 grade that are interested in playing football this year are invited to join a clinic on Aug. 20 & 21, 25 & 26 from 3:30 - 5:00p.m. at Wardlow Park. What to bring: Old white shirt to write on and water.
Welcome Back! Any family that needs to register can do so on the first day of school in the large hall. Also coffee & donuts will be served in the large hall at 8:00am on the first day of school.
All parents and volunteers working with the children and/or planning on attending field trips are required to be Virtus trained and fingerprinted. St. Cornelius Church will offer Virtus training on Tues. August 26th from 9:00am- 12:00noon and Sunday, Sept. 7th from 1:00 - 4:00p.m. Please register online at www.virtusonline.org. Note: St. Cornelius in in the San Pedro region of the LA Archdiocese. You must submit your Virtus Certificate, TB test results and LiveScan fingerprint information before you can work in the classroom or on campus. Please contact the school office with any questions.
August 27, 28, and 29 are all three noon dismissal days. Day Care will be open and is available for students who are registered with the Extended Day Care Program.
